CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) RESPONSE NOTICE

CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) RESPONSE NOTICE

IMPORTANT COVID-19 UPDATE (March 22, 2021)

Courses have resumed in Public Health regions that are not in the "grey-lock-down" level of restriction.

In "red-control" level areas, which include all of our current training locations (Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, and Hamilton) we are limited in class size to a maximum of 9 students, or as the class capacity dictates.

All participants from our postponed courses from November 2020, and January-March 2021 have now been placed or offered VIP placements in upcoming wait listed courses.

From time-to-time, participants may reschedule their bookings, and so we may have seats open on earlier courses that show as "sold out" or that are not currently listed for the public. Please check back frequently or follow our social media (Twitter, Facebook) for updates.

Classroom Protocols

Each registrant will be required to complete a health questionnaire and agree to abide to certain mandatory directives in order to participate in classes, as part of the COVID-19 response.

Your health information is kept private and is only for the purpose of screening whether or not you will be permitted to take part in the course, or be required to wait until a later course (for example, if you have symptoms of illness). The mandatory requirements will be spelled out clearly in the materials provided, but general include a requirement to wear an approved mask and use approved disinfectants/sanitizers.

Should a student in your course later test positive for COVID-19, we will be required to give your contact information to the Public Health authorities if requested so that they may contact you and advise you of the next steps. Similarly, if you later test positive for COVID-19, we are required to pass along the contact details of the other students in your class. Again, your health information is kept private, and Public Health units are responsible for notifications.

Class sizes have been reduced in order to allow for 2m spacing between students during lectures, and where possible, during firearm handling. Masks and hand sanitizing is mandatory because during firearms practical handling, if is not possible to maintain 2m spacing between students and the instructor.

Frequently touched surfaces such as tables and chairs will be cleaned frequently, and training firearms will be cleaned thoroughly between handling sessions.

You may order a student handbook at a cost of ($21.00) from www.FSESO.org or use an electronic version (available for free on our website under Documents-Forms – Ronin Sports) on a device that is only used by you, should you wish to make use of the student handbook. The student handbook is optional, but highly recommended.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at Info@roninsports.com
